Project 365: Week 10
My week in photos as part of Project 365:
Thursday 5 March 2009
After watching Watchmen we walk home, going past the Century City Ho. Tonight all the letters are there but the “o” isn’t lit. One day they’ll get it right.

At least it's not a ho anymore

One hot day I left this candle on the window sill. It softened so much that it bent over under its own weight. Now it’s just decorative because lighting it would make a huge mess.

Not suitable as a candle

My new iPod Nano finally has songs on it.

It makes the bus rides each day a little nicer
Sunday 8 March 2009
Lunch with some lady friends at Sweet Mother’s Kitchen. Their service is still meh but the curly fries are good.
By the way, if you get one of their sweet pies and they ask if you want cream, yoghurt or ice cream with it, don’t expect the ice cream to be free! The other two are included in the price but the ice cream will cost you an extra $2 (regardless of whether they tell you that or not).

I am off sick today. At least I manage to do something creative so the day isn’t a total waste.
I find out that Ms Constantine is also off sick. (For the record, our absences were purely coincidental.)

Another one of those days where I almost fail this project. Out of desperation I take a photo of anything that is around me. This is one of our coasters.

Amen to that!

It’s cold today. Time for boots again. Winter – *sigh*.

These boots were made for walking - but only short distances
