Baby Update at 11 Weeks
According to resources, morning sickness should peak around 8-10 weeks and should start to subside from about now. I’ve definitely felt the queasiness more this last week, even though I thought I might be getting over the peak earlier on. I’ll be optimistic and blame the sick feeling on the winter blues.
Golden kiwifruit are my current favourite fruit. Tart and sweet at the same time is gooood. I’m also really getting back into the good old Asian cooking that mum makes, and have thrown in Japanese. Had a massive want for teriyaki beef, so I made some from scratch, along with tempura prawns. Together with miso, that made an awesome meal. Still doesn’t make up for Midland Sushi though :(
As for foods that I’m turning my nose at, mesculin salad and chicken patties are at the top of my list. Tea is beginning to taste bitter and for the first time in years I’ve had to have sugar in my cuppa.
My bump is getting rounder and people are starting to notice – yay! Good excuse for a shopping spree :)
