Being a mummy must be hard

Had my first taste of motherhood last night – even if it was with my puppy Fez.

This little sad pup wanted to be comforted so we had him sleep with us on our bed – what a treat for him!

He didn’t want to be at the foot and insisted snuggling up next to me, breathing his puppy breath on my neck. I let him stay there until he fell asleep and then pushed him further down so I could get some sleep too.

It was heart wrenching seeing him in pain and not being able to do anything about it but comfort him.

I also had to get up twice to take him outside to go toilet. His satellite dish doesn’t fit through the doggy door and the knowledge of having to take him out kept me awake.

I was *very* tired this morning, so lucky for me that I had the day off.

Here’s to all the mothers out there who have done such a good job raising us.

You’re so sweet, you’re going to make the best mom! Hope you both feel a little better today. I don’t have kids yet, but soooo look forward to the day. For now, I’ll have to settle with my friends’ kids (see my last post) :)

And thanks for the movie review. I’ve been meaning to borrow it but somehow hubby always wins and we end up watching some action flick.

LOL, I once said I thought WS was charming…yeah, that didn’t go over well…hubby proceeded to talk about how big his ears were – made actions and everything…for a 33 yr old he’s a big baby.

LOL about your teenager comment – totally agree, my poor parents – I was a real stinker :)
