A Puppy Can Dream
A friend of mine posted a comment on Facebook asking “What do tigers dream of when they take their little tiger snooze?” (It’s a quote from the movie The Hangover, which I haven’t seen yet.)
I don’t know about tigers but I bet my puppy dreams of jumping on the bed, chewing everything in sight and doing wees and poos wherever he likes, without being told off. His paws often twitch so he must dream of rampaging around. I think I would too if I was a puppy.
But woe is he because he is our puppy and we like to keep him disciplined. Dogs must think that all humans are bipolar. “Good boy” one minute, then “NO! Naughty boy!” the next. If it weren’t for being mean we’d have more than a couple chewed cables and the occasional accident on the floor.
Fez is a kiwi dog – he chewed the face off his kangaroo, and getting hard into his koala bear. It’s not our fault the giant $2 bag of toys from the Sallies has all these Aussie toys in them!

That poor kangaroo – I have a soft spot for them. I was sitting my boy the other day thinking, I wonder what our pup would say if he could talk…

Yeah I’ve thought about that many times. It’ll probably be along the lines of ‘Please, please, please!!” in most cases :)
Fez always cocks his head and gives you a concerned look whenever you talk to him – I’d love to know what he’s thinking too…

Woah…I can’t tell which end is up on that victim!
Fez is lucky – he’s got more toys than some children!

He’s got more soft toys than I had growing up! Good thing it was only $2 huh :)
