Yes, his comment and link with Kraft sound very suspicious. I’m glad they’re not keeping that name.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Dean did mean it as a joke.

I wonder if Dean Robbins, the guy who is credited with submitting "iSnack 2.0", was only putting it in as a joke? Also, putting on my detective hat and cloak: The "marketing manager" in question, I believe, is Ben Shepherd. His grumbly response was the only one who seemed personally offended by the negative comments on the retraction, and he lists strategic work with Kraft on his LinkedIn Page. Of course, it may not be him, but I'm pretty sure he knows the people responsible.

Well we called Colin’s plant ‘Colin 2.0′ because it’s the second version of him lol.

The guy probably just thought 2.0 was cool. He should’ve called it iSpread 1.1, but that’s probably a bit rude.

And ‘Web 2.0′ is the term, not just ‘2.0′ which is still a type of version numbering and not just a web term. That’s how I see it. But who cares. Crap name anyways.

Also 2.0 is best known in relation to web 2.0 – user centred, interactive sites etc.
