First week of parental leave
And I’m bored already.
I did five loads of washing, went into town for a few hours, took the dog for a walk/waddle, had an oven delivered and electricians work on the kitchen, blogged a couple times, slept, ate and watched TV.
If the weather was better I’d be out with Fez more. But it’s been a bit on and off this week and I’ve spent most of the time in the lounge feeling tired and cold. I miss the warmth of the office. Free heat is good. And free toilet paper. Our weekly usage has sky rocketed this week!
There’s still lots that I’d like to get done but I’m either too tired, too big, or my hands hurt too much.
I’m sure it’ll all change once baby arrives, and I should be enjoying the last few weeks of nothingness while I can. I just wish I could enjoy it with a bit more energy and a cocktail on the deck!

You should do what I did on my weeks before Charlie and move house :-)
Sleep as much as you can is my advice!!!

Moving house doesn’t sound so fun… our house is such a mess that it’s almost like moving again! I just feel so heavy and tired that I can’t be bothered doing much physical work.

Any movies you have been meaning to see but haven’t? I got out DVDs and for once Sky was doing a great run of movies so I watched those, in between cleaning like a mad man and sleeping!

Sitting down for long periods is really uncomfortable. It’s a catch 22 at the moment. Nothing is comfortable :[
