Baby Update at 37 Weeks

37 weeks 5 days pregnant
Oh little one
How you squirm
And kick mummy in the ribs
You’re better out
So I can dress you
In little cupcake bibs
So when are you
Going to come
We are all prepared
Your daddy is waiting
For the day
When he can resume drinking beer
There’s dinner on Tuesday
So how about Wednesday
Is that alright with you?
An easy labour
And quick birth
See what you can do
That’s all for now
My little Love
Mummy’s going to make a pie
We’ll see you soon
We can’t wait
K, thanks and bye!

I just realised that the baby is even smaller than you are. It’ll be like Russian matryoshka dolls; once the baby can wear shoes, you can put her shoes in your shoes, then your shoes in Neil’s shoes.

Hehe yep, too right. Although her shoes will probably be bigger than mine in no time!

Hi! Just came across your blog via ‘Aussie in Auckland’ who referred to a recent article in the NZ Herald about ‘Mummy bloggers’. Wishing you all the very, very best with the birth of bubs and hope all goes well. You look radiant in your photograph.
I’m a fellow ‘Mummy blogger’. I started six year’s ago, when my youngest was born, as a means of keeping my family (all in the UK) in touch with their new grandchild. Since then I’ve met some wonderful people through the blogging world.
Anyway, just wanted to wish you all the very best,
Sarah (Mum of 2 from Welly – and one on the way – due in February!)
